As our brand suggests, we are a National Environmental Agency exclusive to all existing recognized Indigenous groups (First Nation, Inuit, and Métis) of Canada. Unlike our constitution, we do not believe in social stratification branded by ethnography (history and cultural identity). Thus, First Nation's all-inclusive term refers to each member of an Indigenous society or non-pejorative constitutional group (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis).
The FNEPA's sole purpose is to work on behalf of or provide support to its Members in all environmental matters that ensures that their history and cultural identity are central to developing a self-administrative environmental department that seeks economic benefit through sustainable, sound decisions that improve present and future generations' quality of life.
